Your GoDutch realtor takes a different approach. We each specialize in one small area. So we know the market inside out and are able to cull the best listings from that area. By working together, we can show you properties in the most desirable areas of Costa Rica. If you are interested in an area we do not cover, we are happy to contact associate realtors who are also niche specialists. Our top priority is to have the most attractive listings at the best prices and to help you find a property that's right for you.
Many realtors in Costa Rica try to sell real estate all over the country. They try to have for sale any listing you might desire, from the tip of the Nicoya Peninsula to Talamanca on the Caribbean coast. The truth is that one broker can't cover real estate in Costa Rica over that big of an area, so they end up spreading themselves too thin. They end up with a few properties scattered widely, and they don't have good listings in any area.
Since there is no obligation in Costa Rica to get a real estate license, you’ll find that everybody in Costa Rica is a realtor. You’ll find taxi drivers, attorneys and builders who will offer you these incredible deals on real estate for sale in Costa Rica. If that happens to you, make sure you check these properties out personally, or go through Stewart Title when you buy. Our realtors, besides checking the real estate in Costa Rica’s Public Registry, also offer professional service and will recommend you to many other specialists you will need now or in future.
Let me introduce you to each of our real estate offices, which are independently operated and work all under the GoDutch Realty Franchise rules and ethics. You can click on each link for detailed information about that area, or scroll down for an overview of each area our offices cover.

In this position he administrated and organized the entire project and was involved in the sales of the homes. The project is completed now and he has chosen to work in real estate since having lived in seven different countries has enabled him to communicate well with foreigners who are now looking to move or invest in this beautiful Costa Rica. Mike speaks English and Spanish.

Shell was born in Sweden, grew up in Peru, went to college and lived nearly 30 years in Canada and has lived in Costa Rica for the last nine years. His background makes him fluently trilingual and gives him an in-depth knowledge of Costa Rica and the Latin culture. He lives in Cariari and therefore knows it well. He has been a member of the Cariari Golf Club from the day he arrived. He has bought and sold real estate in Cariari and built a house in its exclusive Las Alturas area. He's married to Shirley and has one daughter and a dog named 'Missy'.

Howard and Isabelle Jones
Isabelle and Howard Jones fell in love with Costa Rica and Atenas in particular when they first visited the country in 1991. They fulfilled their dream/goal by moving to beautiful Atenas in January, 2003 from Colorado, U.S.A.
When they looked to buy property they quickly found that a full service professional realtor for the Atenas area was really the only thing missing to make their move easier. After searching for the right way for over a year, they decided to become the GoDutch Realty franchisee for the Atenas area, since that would give them the opportunity to master the difficulties of real estate in this beautiful country. Howard & Isabelle have over 15 years of property/casualty insurance and computer sales. They speak English, Polish and are diligently studying Spanish. Of course they are supported by the other GoDutch Realty offices for anything they (or their clients) might need.
Isabelle and Howard expect to go the extra mile for all of those who plan to make Atenas and surrounding areas their new home.
