Some people don’t believe in real estate testimonials as they think there are invented. Well, ours are not, as it will show in the real testimonials we receive.

Sharing tribal knowledge
GoDutch has been a great resource in helping us find a home and sharing their tribal knowledge about navigating everything a gringo might encounter in this pura vida land. My husband and I knew we wanted to be west of San Jose but where exactly, we didn’t know. . . Escazu, Santa Ana, Grecia, Atenas? On very short notice and within a 4-day visit from the States, Ivo showed us multiple options within their respective locations. All were punctual, personable, very knowledgeable, and uniquely entertaining to spend time with. Ivo runs the organization and has curated a highly competent group of realtors who are fluent in English and Spanish, with some also speaking French and, of course, Dutch. They also help with post-house purchase tasks like setting up electricity in your name and escorting you on a day of furniture/appliance shopping. I later found out that Ivo has affiliates across the country so I recommend reaching out to Ivo no matter where in Costa Rica you plan to house hunt.

Overall we were very happy with Marian’s work on our behalf. We had our house on the market for two and a half years and Marian was one of our most active realtors doing many showings. The sale closed without a glitch
I have had a wonderful experience working with Marian Veltman with a property I owned in Atenas for the past 8 years. I was living in the U.S. and she handled everything that ever came up concerning the property. She gave me a monthly accounting of every dime that was spent, and she has a network of workers to call when things would need attention. She kept in touch with the tenants and kept in touch with me, so I never had to worry about the property falling into disarray. When it came time for me to sell the property she found a buyer and handled all of the preliminary work and the sale closed without a glitch.
